Framing is All About Proportions
Framing is the phase of construction when a space truly begins to emerge. Never is the relationship between open air and physical building as apparent, or as important. It’s also an exciting time because we finally have the opportunity to visualize space planning, flow, proportion, and scale.
Michael determined the precise location of each window and its dimensions. The lighting and electrical plans have been finalized as well. As the framing comes together, we now have the opportunity to adjust certain proportions and achieve the symmetry Michael wants for the House on Mapleton Drive. These details are essential as they will affect the ambiance and the final look and feel of each room.
